7.1

The Committee considered a report by the Town Clerk on a review of Town Council Byelaws.

 

It was RESOLVED that:

 

The review of the Town Council Byelaws was approved and the timetable for implementing any changes as set out in the report was agreed.

 

7.2

HARPENDEN AT CHRISTMAS - CHRISTMAS FAYRE AND OUTDOOR ICE RINK pdf icon PDF 82 KB

The Committee considered a report by the Events Officer and Town Clerk on plans for a Christmas Fayre and Outdoor Ice Rink:

 

The Committee RESOLVED that:

 

(i)              The Council work with a third party to deliver a Christmas Fayre in Harpenden on 7 – 9 December 2018. 

(ii)             It approved in principle a temporary outdoor ice rink being installed in Harpenden and that the Town Clerk be requested to develop plans further and bring a report back for final decision in September.

(iii)           The Christmas Fayre would be allowed to take place on the triangle area of the Common if the Council were unsuccessful in securing road closure permissions for Bowers Parade.

BATFORD SPRINGS NATURE RESERVE BOARDWALK - UPDATE pdf icon PDF 67 KB

8.

To RESOLVE that:
